An exploration of different painting techniques, and mediums for beginners to intermediate. Have you ever wanted to learn to paint? Or are you keen to brush up your skills and learn some new techniques? Sailors Jail Gallery is thrilled to announce our first-ever adult painting course! Join us for an incredible six-week journey, exploring a variety of painting mediums and subjects, whilst instilling core skills such as composition, proportion, scale and tone. Our expert instructors will guide you step-by-step through each week's project, including watercolours, acrylics, gouache and oils. At the end of the course you will have an array of your own beautiful artworks to take home, including a still life, portrait, and animal, as well as the confidence and skills to continue your creativity beyond the classroom. Our daytime course is perfect for those looking to explore their artistic side while enjoying the company of fellow art enthusiasts.
